Metabolic is an Amsterdam consultancy that uses systems thinking to move cities and companies toward a circular economy. Its industries team helps companies from electronics to textiles measure the carbon and materials in their supply chains.

From 2023 to 2024 I led commercial work for that team. I packaged our circular economy and emissions expertise into offers multinationals could buy, including the Circular Interventions Impact Calculator and the Carbon Footprint Assessment, and took deals from first call to signed scope, for clients including Cisco. Annual revenue grew 42% over that time.

I also built a joint go-to-market offer with Cognizant, the global IT services company, pairing Metabolic’s climate and nature methods with Cognizant’s data and technology, and opened partnerships with industry groups in biopharma and textiles.
